Part of the Inlay collection, Fibers employs an enamel inlay technique similar to the ceramics technique called Mishima. The enamel is scratched out by hand with a toothpick and then "inlaid" with a different color (or colors, as is the case here) -- hence the name. Mica is also inlaid to add texture and playfulness and shifting reflectivity. The shape/color suggests a ginkgo biloba leaf.
The ear wires are Argentium silver (nickel-free, slow tarnish) and come with silicone ear backs included. Sterling silver extenders cost $4 to substitute and add a 1" drop.
