Joan's Star is part of the MOMOcollection. The Joan in question is Miró, who littered his drawings with the symbol and referred to it as part of his “cortège des obsessions”. Simple yet freighted with symbolism. It happened quite on its own one day, playing around with some cuttings of thin-gauge up-cycled copper wire. The red/black backdrop accentuates the Spanish theme, reminiscent of bull-fighting, Friday nights in Madrid, and Rioja wine.
The ear wires are argentium silver (nickel-free, slow tarnish) and come with silicone ear backs included. Each charm includes a rhodium-coated sterling silver box chain of 16" or 18".
